Groomer Shawn
I have grown up my entire life with animals and have always had the gift of connecting with animals easily.
Having a calm and grounded energy is essential when working with animals in order to gain their trust and form a connection with them. I always strive to create an environment where my furry clients feel safe, calm and at peace.
I am currently a proud “dog dad” of four dogs and a “foster dad” to several other dogs. I have been volunteering with various animal welfare organizations since 2008 and I am currently a volunteer at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.
I am also a certified Reiki Master, specializing in Reiki for animals.

Our Philosophy
Mobile grooming provides you and your pet the convenience, individualized attention and service that you deserve. When I come to your home or office…
It is more convenient for you.
It is less stressful for your pet.
It saves you time commuting back and forth to a pet salon.
I use only natural, cruelty-free shampoos and conditioners that are specifically formulated for animals, reducing exposure to harsh ingredients and chemicals.
Your pet will not be exposed to other animals, helping to eliminate anxiety, agitation and potential disease transmission.
Your pet will be hand dried and fluffed. NO CAGE DRYING!
Who is Sunny?
Sunny was abandoned and found in a hole at a local park by an animal services officer. I volunteer at a local animal shelter and as soon as I saw him, I knew there was something very special about Sunny. Sunny was a senior dog; deaf, partially blind, an ulcer on one eye, no teeth, a heart murmur, suffered from seizures and was undergoing kidney failure. I offered to foster him and the next day we brought him home as a hospice foster.
Sunny required multiple daily medications and subcutaneous fluids twice a week and was not expected to live much longer. Our only hope was that he would at least make it through the holidays so we provided him with the medical care he needed, home made food, a warm safe place to sleep, lots of cuddles and most importantly, unconditional love.
Sunny thrived from the care that he was receiving and he remained with us for seven months before he crossed the rainbow bridge. While we were heartbroken over his passing, I am so grateful for the short amount of time that he was in our lives. He taught me strength, perseverance, overcoming obstacles and how rewarding it is to foster animals in need. Needless to say, he was our first foster dog, but he was not the last.
When forming my mobile grooming business I wanted to find a way to honor Sunny so that is how Sunny’s Mobile Pet Grooming Shoppe was born.
